2010 has been an amazing year with many turns...some of the highlights this Fall were as follows: in September I created the Exclusive Artisan Gourmet Signature biscotti for the Centre for Women in Business called 'CWB BIZcotti'...a huge hit with all during the Sept event. We had a wonderful article printed about us and it was picked up online in business blogs and then in the Nova Scotia Business Journal. We also became a Charter Member of the Nova Scotia Come to Life initiative.
In October with some interesting twists in new clients and many supporters across the country...I won the 2010 Committed Entrepreneur award with Silver Lining...With the Grand prize of a VIP trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica...I was busy creating two new creations that would be launched in November with C'est Tres Bon in Lunenburg (a gourmet food retailer). My new biscotti creation in Terry's Favourite (Chocolate & Orange) and named after my gramma...and The Original Naughty Bark, pure dark Belgium chocolate loaded with my Canadian Maple Crunch Biscotti...so addictive...so naughty...
In November came a whirlwind trip filled to Jamaica with the 9 other winners from across Canada...a trip filled with affirmations, inspiration and 9 new and amazing friends for life! One could not take away anything but a new found dedication for their passion in their company as I did with my own!
December was a month full of baking, excitement and reflecting on the year past...busy with friends and family and hoping all was good with friends and family around the globe.
I believe that 2011 will be a year full of growth in many aspects: business, friendship, personal...I am wishing for all of you continued happiness and success in 2011...May it be as wonderful as it can be! Cheers to 2011
